the place was immacuate, bathroom included. the service was quick, polite. the sandwich and fries were prepaired in view and were really good. was r first time there, we will go back.
another hole on the wall. This a new location for Kelly's Roast Beef, originally from Revere Beach, Ma. the service is slow for place that had no customer waiting. Lady taking orders should stay home. She placed a duplicate order and had to throw the food away. Sad to see! i ordered large roast beef +4 meal. and Small lobster roll. Beef sandwich is very good! i've never been good in making sandwich this tasty. The taste really depends on the condiments you choose. Lobster roll is cold sandwich as good as Maine. Would. return? Yes.
Where do you start? Friendly staff greet you at the counter while you ponder the extensive menu but their roast beef is why you go at least the first time. It's a nice place not overly large but comfortable tables and booths to accommodate us well endowed fellas. Not loud or noisy which is nice for holding a conversation. The roast beef sandwiches were amazing. Mine was with creamed horseradish, pickle and red onion. Others had combos with cheese and au jus sauce. The fries were done nice and hot and crispy and the onion rings were well done. Order at the counter, take a number and like magic your order will be brought to your table.
Great rare roast beef sandwich and fries! We have been to original one in Boston and this is just as good! Thanks for bringing this NE staple to our area!
Been waiting 2 years for a beef 3way! I couldn't get over how plentiful of the rare roast beef. Its was outstanding. Grilled sesame bun. It's not warm as the beef, but just enough to melt my cheese and a perfect bite! Being from Salem, Massachusetts and customer for out my whole life! Thank you! I am so happy you're here. Makes me feel at home!
YUM. The sandwiches here are outstanding -- I'm generally an average fan of roast beef, and I crave this place! I got a "small" sandwich as was completely satisfied. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, they were super quick to get a water for my son who was parched on a hot day. I think Kelly's gets negative feedback about prices because it feels like a fast casual place, but in reality these sandwiches are huge and well worth the money. Check them out!
